We reclaim the original promise of the United States, as written by Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” However, sadly, that promise was betrayed.
The Opposition of Conservative Ideologies
Conservatives of the Middle Ages and, indeed, of all eras, have always tried to stop that project. Specifically, they focused on denying equality, undermining unalienable rights, and, above all, demonizing happiness.
A Campaign of Inclusion and Empowerment
